I would personally like to thank everyone involved for taking the time and effort in support of my quest to become a certified Millwright. Having attempted to write for my IP twice and fail was both frustrating and embarrassing. At 48 and a single parent my goal was to get the certification which would bring both security and stability for me and my family.
When I applied for assistance through the Northern Skills Training program, I received the encouragement and the support that I had hoped for. The plan developed for me moving forward was intense and my commitment was to apply 100% effort which I did. Today I am a Certified Millwright having passed my IP by 81 %. Again, thanks to everyone for the opportunity this program provided and the support received in making by dream a reality.
Sincerely,
Robin Shaver
