Appreciation Barbeque for Newpro members Smithers

At the last Annual General Meeting of USW local 1-424 all local Union operations had their names thrown into a hat for a draw to have the officers go to the lucky sites and provide a BQ for the members of that operation. Newpro members in Smithers are pictured with Brother Frank Everitt President and Brother Brian O'Rourke Financial Secretary cooking up the burgers. Sister Shannon Euverman and Brother Boota Johal also assisted in this first BQ accompanied with some great weather was a success.

We will be holding draws at each ADM for the site BQ it's a way of connecting with the members and showing a little appreciation for their efforts. We have a large area to cover and 40 different operations but over time everyone will have a BQ at their operation said Frank Everitt.
