Although I was a little hesitant about entering the NST program because I was not sure they could help me. I was wrong. They walked me through the steps, did my assessment and developed an action plan to achieve my goals. Today I have a certificate as heavy equipment operator which will help me at the saw mill and gives me more security for the future. Having worked at Upper Fraser for 24 years then lose my job was tough to handle, taking advantage of the NST program provided me with an opportunity to obtain this certificate and give me the ability to advance in my present workplace with more confidence and meet any future challenges head on.
Thanks Everyone
John Townsend
